In 2015 Sotheby’s International Realty affiliated brokers and sales professionals achieved $80 billion in U.S. home sale transaction volume. This is the highest sales volume performance in the history of the brand’s franchise system, and marks a 13 percent increase from the prior year.
The Sotheby’s International Realty network also expanded in many significant global markets, and now encompasses 63 countries and territories worldwide. At year-end, the network totaled approximately 835 offices, a gain of 10 percent, and more than 18,800 sales associates, up 14 percent.
Our brand also had a tremendous year from a marketing perspective. The 2015 campaign delivered more than 1.2 billion impressions, the newly re-launched sothebysrealty.com won two awards and to mark the 40th year of the Sotheby’s International Realty in the luxury residential real estate brokerage business, we rang the Closing Bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
